Offering luxury accessible holiday accommodation for families, the house is just a few minutes’ walk to shops and the beach. Park your car when you arrive and stroll everywhere.

In Summer, you are just a few minutes to the beach. While in Winter, laze by the log fire on the huge couch and choose from dozens of DVD’s and games. Barwon Heads is 90 minutes from Melbourne in the Bellarine Peninsula, near the start of The Great Ocean Road.

Large BBQ for outdoor cooking too. There is also an outdoor heated shower for rinsing the sand off when returning from the beach.

A separate, cozy, fun-filled living area has another TV with built-in DVD, heaps of books, games and DVD’s, drawing easel. Super comfy bean bags designed specifically for children and teenagers. (For your little ones, a porta-cot, high chair, and potty is also provided). All to ensure you have a few minutes of peace!

This accessible accommodation in Barwon Heads has 3 bedrooms with the highest quality beds, ensuring a peaceful nights sleep. Choose from 4 types of pillows for ultimate comfort. The main and 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and 3rd bedroom with two sets of bunks. The holiday house sleeps a total of 8 -9  people in comfort & style.

  • Master bedroom (with en-suite) has a queen bed with room under bed for hoist, and bed pole, and can also accommodate an electric bed as well, comfortably.

For your exclusive use during your stay, a floating beach wheelchair. Take it from the house to the beach (gentle tidal river ideal for floating in the water, or open ocean for a stroll along the sand, your choice. Life jacket provided too. This enables a person with special needs to experience the beach at any time with family and friends all year round. The tidal river two blocks from 100 Hitchcock is absolutely perfect for this activity. Gentle waves, and not too deep.

From toddlers to teens, worn-out parents, kid-free parents and couples, you are spoilt for choice with things to do and see. Animal sanctuary, boating, coastal walks and flat bike paths, day spa, fishing. Golf course, pier/jetty, playground, skate park, river estuary, scenic flights & skydiving. An ideal blend of gentle tidal river beaches (perfect for kids to paddle and play) as well as surf beaches, for catching waves, long walks & paddle boarding, and wineries, wineries & wineries! Pets accepted on a case by case basis. The owners are dog lovers too. If your dog is well behaved, and poop collected, they’d love to have he or she stay! Please seek approval before booking- as they request $200 pet bond. It’s refunded in full if there’s no additional cleaning ( pet hair/poop) required. Service dogs allowed at all times.
