Driftwood Stayz Accessible Accommodation – Gold Coast is a ground-floor suite that has been tastefully decorated in a coastal theme. All level access, the property offers a roll-in shower and shower chair with grab rails in the shower and toilet. The outdoor area has a wide ramp to roll onto. Easy wheelchair access to the pool area and gardens. The resort facilities include a large lagoon-style pool which is partially accessible with a grab rail at steps. So it would suit people with disabilities who may be able to navigate stairs using the handrails. The apartment is situated 400 metres from the beautiful Surfers Paradise beaches and 200 metres to the riverside.

The property has a private bedroom with queen size bed and large open sliding doors. In the living room, there is an area divided with plantation shutters with two king single beds and also a sofa bed with an innerspring mattress. There is a large bathroom with easy access and grab rails and a shower chair. Spacious living area for easy access to the kitchenette area and dining and easy wheelchair access to a private courtyard outside. The property can sleep a total of 5 guests. (Note there is a KITCHENETTE ONLY, NOT A FULL KITCHEN. The kitchenette has a microwave and no stove/oven.) Please ensure you note this at the time of booking.

Guests will love the huge range of access-friendly activities available across the Gold Coast. From the beach to the hinterland you’ll never be short of things to do and see.

It’s just a short distance to the beach and the centre of Surfers Paradise, where you will find lots of restaurants and bars, specialty shops and Timezone Kids Arcade. Weekly beachside markets are along the esplanade and The popular “Bumbles” cafe is just down the road by the river with lots of picnic spots and boat access. Coles and Woolworths, Liquorland and BWS are also close by. You will find the tram line just 200 metres from the resort which takes you to major shopping centres and the Star Casino. The esplanade is just 400 metres away and north or south you can enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast beaches patrolled by lifeguards in designated zones. Regular buses will also take you to all the major theme parks.

A beautiful ambient, open-feeling restaurant lush with greenery, fringed by an alfresco area overlooking the resort’s swimming pool and waterfall. The restaurant serves buffet breakfast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It combines a celebration of a traditional Malaysian breakfast with a Western continental breakfast. Lunch on Saturday and Sunday offers a Malaysian buffet and a la carte menu. Dinner buffet and la carte is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
